61* (as in Kobe in the Garden)

So Kobe makes his much anticipated return to the Garden tonight to take on the Knickerbockers. Well considering the beat down that the Cavs gave the Lake show last night, Kobe should break Wilt's record tonight. Out of shear frustration, if nothing else. I can't help but to look at the Flakers like I look at White Goldman and the rest of the Globotron goons. Remember in Dodgeball how together Vaughn's crew was. That's the Cavs. Remember how White couldn't spell his own name and Meschel picked him up on the moped. That's Kobe and Ron Artest. The whole Laker team is scared shitless of Kobe, and the Cavs LOVE LeBron. Take witness in yesterday's blog about Green. What a weirdo Kobe is.

Great match last night with Rev em up Roddick and Feliciano Lopez. The last set was especially saucy. Well until a visibly exhausted Lopez tried to "gut it out", with Roddick simply unleashing a flurry of aces and cross court winners that wore Lopez into the pavement. Kind of like Clubber losing it after the first two rounds to Rocky. Next up Gonzalez, who he's faced, and dominated. Shouldn't be a match. The most disappointing match was my boy Gael Monfils pulling a VandeVelde and completely sperming in the clutch against Isner. This Isner kid worries me. Not only did he take out my favorite brotha, (Sorry Blake loses to many early round matches for me to root for him. I'm a Bills and Twins fan. It's hard enough.) he dominated in New Zealand recently, and mustered energy in this comeback I thought was reserved for thoroughbreds on their last furlong. Let's get this kid the hell out of down under!

So quick notes before this weekend.

-Good luck to my ex-student Percy as he battles migraines. Here's to having a good game youngster. But I have to still root for the Saints.

-Also, considering I worked for his father, well wishes to Kevin Pearce as he battles back from his devastating spill in Utah. Snowboarding will be a little weaker this Olympics.

With that said--see you all Monday. Have a great weekend!
